In 2016, Begin Lanse, founder and Director of Arc-en-Ciel Montessori, had a vision to provide high-quality, whole-child education to children ages 3 months to 6 years in a French environment. She knew that the Montessori method was a proven means to that end. In collaboration with several other AMI-certified Montessorians, Arc-en-Ciel Montessori French Immersion School was born. We opened our doors in May of 2020, and now have an Infant House, a Toddler House, and a Children’s House with 3 Primary Classrooms. We are currently the only English/French Montessori school in SE Portland.
